The Pascal Pulse - Issue #13

Welcome to Issue 13 of The Pascal Pulse

Pedro doesn’t post often, which makes it all the more powerful when he does. His latest Instagram post, standing with Jimmy Kimmel to defend free speech and democracy, was bold and timely, and in today’s climate, not without risk.

The comments section may have had everyone laughing at his sass (and yes, it was top-tier), but there is more here than just a clever clap back. He is not giving these people attention to give them attention. He is showing the absurdity of the attacks. That choice, the decision to stand up when silence is the norm, is not only powerful, it is costly.

Let us not lose the message in the clap backs. When Pedro speaks, he isn’t just entertaining us, he is reminding us that staying on the right side of history takes more than charm. It takes courage. And he has once again shown us he is willing to use his voice for something bigger than himself.

Be on the Lookout, Mando Fans
Rumor had it we would get The Mandalorian and Grogu trailer this past week but after the outcry over Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension by ABC (Disney owned) it seems Disney hit pause. The trailer is still expected to be attached to TRON: Ares which is releasing in theaters on October 10, this means we could see it release right before, possibly on October 7 or 9. Keep your eyes open because it could drop any day now.

In a candid ELLE interview, actress Lux Pascal highlights the close, supportive bond she shares with her older brother, Pedro. Lux openly praises Pedro’s guidance and encouragement (calling his support “endless” and saying she’s “the luckiest girl in the f*king world” to have him as a brother), while Pedro immediately turns the compliment back on her, reminding her of her own strengths (“There isn’t shit that you could do if you weren’t you1”). They swap heartfelt advice and memories: Pedro credits Lux with giving him confidence during self-doubts (telling her, “Enough is enough. You’re the s**t... you’re the person I believe the most”), and Lux recalls Pedro comforting her in a moment of tears by urging her, “Just be yourself. People will see it eventually.” These warm, humorous, and encouraging moments – from playful jokes about his “protective side” to shared childhood memories – underscore the affectionate, empowering dynamic between the Pascal siblings.

Pedro Pascal steals the show

(but not the award) at the 2025 Emmy

Okay, so Pedro may not have taken home his first Emmy (yet 👀), but let’s be real- he absolutely stole the show on the red carpet. He stepped onto the Peacock Theater carpet in a sharp cream double-breasted Celine suit. As People magazine reported, it was “a white double-breasted suit jacket and trousers by Celine.” He paired the suit with crisp white Celine lace-up shoes and stylish tinted sunglasses. Styled once again by Jamie Mizrahi. (Seriously, could he look any cooler?!)

All in all, Pedro Pascal’s 2025 Emmys outfit was a total win. From the head-turning jacket to the crisp white kicks and shades, he proved he’s as much a style icon as a screen star. We couldn’t be prouder of our guy and we can’t wait to see what he wears next. Go Pedro! 🎉

Pedro “turned the red carpet into his own personal runway”

Fun fact: the suit was a custom piece by Celine’s new creative director, Michael Rider – reportedly his first-ever red-carpet design for the brand. Talk about a debut! Big props to Pedro, Jamie Mizrahi, and the whole team for launching Rider’s Celine look on the Emmys stage.

Fantastic Four: First Steps Gag Reel Released

Marvel has dropped a new blooper reel for Fantastic Four: First Steps, giving fans a playful behind-the-scenes peek at the cast cracking up on set. The short clip arrived ahead of the movie’s home release (digital on Sept. 23 and Blu-ray on Oct. 14) and shows Pedro Pascal and his co-stars Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach goofing off during filming! It’s listed as one of the bonus extras on the film’s upcoming Blu-ray release, underscoring its role as a lighthearted treat for viewers.
