Welcome to Issue 17 of The Pascal Pulse
Dear Readers,
October feels like a film lit by candlelight, everything glows, but softly, with long shadows at the edges. We’re wrapped in that cinematic mood: cozy jumpers, flickering pumpkins (some suspiciously Pedro-shaped), and the electric hum of Halloween drawing near.
But beneath the costumes and candy lies a deeper truth. October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to stand beside survivors and speak against silence. If you need to hear it: you are not alone. This fandom is a family. We celebrate joy, but we also make space for pain, because both are part of being human. Reach out - to someone you trust, to a helpline, to us. You deserve safety, peace, and care.
Pedro’s October has been just as rich in light and shadow, from supporting Lux at fashion week to preparing for Behemoth! and carrying the quiet strength we’ve come to love. He reminds us that showing up with compassion, curiosity, and heart, is its own kind of art.
As we follow his journey, let’s remember our own. Fandom isn’t just updates and premieres; it’s connection.
Celebrate the bold reveals and red carpets, but don’t forget your boundaries and your breath.
This month, we honor both the magic and the mess - the glitter and the grief. Pedro is out there weaving new worlds, and we’re right here, weaving ours: stories of care, creativity, and courage.
Here’s to Halloween mischief, kind hearts, and the small miracles that keep us glowing.
Yours in light (and shadow),
-The Editors

The People’s Princess at the No Kings Protest in LA!
Pedro, proudly wearing his yellow Lakers shirt, was among the tens of thousands who gathered across Southern California on October 18 for the nationwide “No Kings” protest. The marches, held in more than 2,700 cities, were a powerful response to the growing constitutional crisis under Trump’s leadership and the illegal actions of ICE, calling for the protection of democracy, accountability, and the rights of all people.
Once again, Pedro showed up when it mattered most, standing shoulder to shoulder with his agents Franklin, Sue, director Tony Gilroy and so many others who believe in compassion, equality, and progress. We couldn’t be prouder of him and everyone who took to the streets to make their voices heard. And yes, our unicorn was spotted kissing a unicorn during the march, proving love and hope always win. 🦄
Check out Pedro’s Instagram post about his day of action for more moments from this inspiring event.

Pedro at Chappell Roan’s Rose Bowl Show!
Pedro Pascal was spotted at Chappell Roan’s concert at the Rose Bowl on October 11th, joined by Sarah Paulson, Jason Butler Harner, his husband Mickey Rapkin, and Sarah’s friend Ella Beatty for a night overflowing with queer joy and amazing music.
We know Pedro was loving it, if only someone had caught him dancing! We love that Sarah, Jason, and Mickey are not only his forever besties but also his go-to concert crew. Some friendships are just built for good music and great memories.

Behemoth! Casting Update
The Behemoth! buzz keeps growing and fast. Eva Victor (Sorry, Baby) has joined Pedro and David Harbour in Tony Gilroy’s new film, with casting led by Carmen Cuba (Narcos, Stranger Things, Looking).
Carmen, a longtime friend of Pedro’s, recently shared a casting call for a young cello player (ages 5-8).
With filming set to start very soon in Los Angeles, the pieces are quickly falling into place for what’s shaping up to be one of Pedro’s most exciting projects yet

Sexiest Man Alive?!
People Magazine is gearing up to announce its 2025 Sexiest Man Alive cover. Could this finally be Pedro’s year? He’s been left off every fan poll, maybe because they’re saving him for the big reveal. With two upcoming films from smaller studios, could this be the perfect PR moment? Maybe this time he’ll finally say yes.
Make a Wish!
Make-A-Wish Arizona shared that at the Fantastic Four: First Steps premiere, Pedro met Kennedy, a Wish Kid who had long dreamed of meeting her favorite actor. Diagnosed with a metabolic disorder, Kennedy found inspiration in Pedro’s performances and that night, her wish came true. The joy on her face captured exactly why stories, and the people who tell them, matter so deeply.

🍬 What Kind of Candy Would They Give Out? 🍬
Because it’s spooky season, and every Pedro character has a Halloween vibe all their own.

Dave York – The Equalizer 2
Lives in a quiet cul-de-sac where his wife hands out full-size Snickers and Milky Ways because she actually cares about being better than the neighbors. His daughters make him dress up every year, and this time he’s Darth Vader proudly escorting Princess Leia and R2-D2 around the block. He pretends to hate it but he’s having the best night of his life.

Maxwell Lord – Wonder Woman 1984
From his fancy house that’s a little too showy for the neighborhood, Max hands out gold-wrapped Ferrero Rochers, the kind his secretary Raquel picked up last minute. It’s not his weekend with Alistair so he’s throwing himself into community engagement. He still can’t resist saying “Life is good… but it can be better!” to every parent at the door.

Harry Castillo – Materialists
From his sleek penthouse overlooking the city, Harry gives out mini LEGO figures and gourmet candy because Halloween should be an experience, not just a sugar rush. He compliments every kid’s costume, tells every parent they’re doing great, and genuinely thanks every mom for all they do. The elevator smells like expensive cologne and his doorman quietly confirms that no one does trick-or-treat like Mr. Castillo.

Pero Tovar – The Great Wall
Absolutely does not give out candy. In fact, he stole it all for himself hours ago. Every chocolate bar, caramel, and lollipop has mysteriously vanished into his coat pockets. Sharing isn’t exactly his strong suit. When the neighborhood kids knock, he mutters something about “rations,” slams the door, and sneaks another bite of a stolen chocolate!

Javi Gutierrez – The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent
It’s his first Halloween in the States and he’s been waiting for this moment like it’s Cannes. His front yard looks like a movie set - fog machine, fake blood, and a projector looping classic slashers against the garage door. He’s curated his treats like a true cinephile: Psycho Popcorn, Freddy Krueger Fingers (chocolate-covered pretzels), and little Texas Chainsaw Mini Pies. He greets every kid with the reverence of an A-list director seeing their muse.
Thirty minutes in, the candy’s gone. He bought enough for an army, but he can’t bring himself to turn anyone away, especially not the small Paddington Bear who waddles up last, clutching an empty pumpkin bucket. Javi tears up instantly, slips the kid a crumpled twenty, and whispers, “You are my little star, Paddington.”

Joel Miller – The Last of Us
Hands out full-size Hershey bars, but only to kids who say thank you and look like they’ve survived something. Everyone else gets raisins. He grumbles about the good old days but still makes sure every kid gets home safe before curfew.

Francisco “Frankie” Morales – Triple Frontier
Passes out homemade candy bags filled with Reese’s, mini Kit Kats, and a handwritten note that says “Fly safe out there, kiddo.” The bags are perfectly labeled and tied with military precision, and though he insists it’s no big deal, he’s absolutely been planning this mission for weeks.

Din Djarin – The Mandalorian
Leaves a bowl of candy by the door with a handwritten sign that says “Take one” which Grogu immediately ignores. Inside the bowl are Tepasi Taffy, Gracious Government Mix, gummy frogs, and those little blue cookies Grogu loves, all secured for him by Peli Motto. Half the neighborhood stops by just hoping to catch a glimpse of the pram floating by.

Ted Garcia – Eddington
Gives out all-natural organic candy because he’s convinced it will win him the soccer mom vote in his mayoral campaign. Ever the image-conscious politician, he leaves the bowl out front to avoid cross-contamination and stations a bottle of hand sanitizer beside it complete with a campaign sticker that says “Clean Hands, Clean Leadership.” It’s 2020 and Ted’s not taking chances or missing photo ops.

Dieter Bravo – The Bubble
Dieter has turned off all his lights because he is absolutely not sharing his KitKats. He’s too stoned to deal with the doorbell anyway and, to be fair, he’s not allowed to give out candy this year after last Halloween’s incident when he accidentally handed out the edibles his assistant left on the counter. He’s still haunted by the memory of a small child in a ghost costume that scared him so badly he dropped an entire bong. This year he’s watching Hocus Pocus in sunglasses and calling it “method rest.”

Oberyn Martell – GoT - Modern AU
He’s not handing out candy so much as life lessons: glossy brochures about consent and safe sex tucked neatly beside bowls of color-coded condoms and chocolate-covered strawberries for the older teens. For the little ones, there are dragon-shaped gummies and juice boxes with tiny plastic swords. Every parent leaves flustered, every teenager leaves enlightened, and every kid leaves sticky-fingered and delighted. When someone comments that it’s a bit much for Halloween, Oberyn just smiles and says, “Darling, pleasure and safety are never out of season.”

Creator Spotlight: @chibi.mosa
If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if Sonny Angels met The Last of Us, Strange Way of Life, and Saturday Night Live, look no further than @chibi.mosa.
Steph hand-paints and styles custom Sonny Angels that capture Pedro’s most beloved characters with tiny, perfect detail, from Joel and Silva to his red-carpet looks. Each creation somehow manages to be both heartbreakingly sweet and hilariously accurate (the tiny stubble alone deserves an award).
Steph’s minis bring a dose of serotonin straight to the timeline. Every post feels like a love letter to Pedro’s characters and to the joy of fandom itself.
✨Follow @chibi.mosa and prepare to say, “I need this little guy immediately.”
Fandom at Its Finest
We couldn’t agree more with @missheathercard’s Pedrotober Day 14 post, it’s exactly what makes this fandom so special.
Pedrotober 2025 kicked off 19 days ago, inviting artists and fans alike to spend the month creating something inspired by Pedro. The #Pedrotober2025 tag is already overflowing with incredible artwork, edits, and imaginative takes. It’s pure joy watching the community come together year after year for this creative celebration.
This is the good stuff, lifting each other up, celebrating creativity, and finding connection through shared inspiration. Every tag, every share, every encouraging comment keeps the spirit of Pedrotober and the Fandom glowing.
It’s not about who made what, it’s about how we all make something together. That’s the heart of this community: cheering each other on, celebrating art, celebrating Pedro, and building something beautiful side by side.
A huge shoutout again to @morguedesign for dreaming up Pedrotober, and to Alyssa (@alyssamariag) and North (@north.the.lemon) for hosting and keeping the tradition thriving. ✨
Here’s to more of that energy, because this is what fandom is supposed to feel like.
