Welcome to Issue 24 of The Pascal Pulse

As the year begins to shimmer with tinsel and twinkle lights, The Pascal Pulse finds itself celebrating a little holiday magic of its own. This December marks six months of our newsletter-half a year of gathering together to admire, analyze, and lovingly swoon over all things Pedro Pascal. What began as a tiny spark of enthusiasm has grown into a vibrant space filled with curiosity, humor, and genuine connection.

Along the way, we’ve hit milestones that still make us smile. Our community is now nearly 600 subscribers strong, and what delights us even more is how many of you stay with us each month. More than 65% of our subscribers read each issue-an extraordinary number in the world of newsletters. It tells us that this space matters to you, and that the joy we take in crafting each edition is met with joy in return.

We’re deeply grateful for this community. For your messages, your energy, your Pedro-themed delights…You’ve turned this newsletter into something bigger than updates, you’ve turned it into a shared ritual.

And now, as the holidays draw near, we’re especially excited to see how our Secret Santa unfolds. We can’t wait to experience the joy of the gifts we’re going to exchange. We’ll also be picking the winner of our giveaway, even more to look forward to as the season settles in.

Whether you’re wrapping presents, rewatching a favorite Pascal performance, or simply letting the winter mood settle around you, thank you for being here with us. The year has been brighter because of this space and because of you.

Here’s to the next six months, and to whatever unexpected adventures await us in the new year.

Warmly,
-The Editors

Pedro Claims the Crown as America’s Most-Searched Actor of 2025

According to Google’s official Year in Search 2025 report, Pedro ranked #1 on the U.S. trending actors chart, making him the most Googled actor of the year, and The Fantastic Four claimed its own spotlight as one of the most searched movies of 2025. From his stretch as Reed Richards to the Cannes premiere of Eddington, that stunning summer Vanity Fair cover we’re still not over (because yes, Everyone Wants a Piece of Pedro Pascal), and the sheer charm of Pedro and Dakota being total catty Gurrrls on the Materialists press junket with a little Chris Evans chaos sprinkled in, it was the Summer of Pedro from start to finish. We’re not saying we’re responsible for those search stats, but we’re also not denying it.

Pedro Adds Another Title to His Resume

As if topping Google’s Year in Search wasn’t enough, Pedro was named “Daddy of the Year” by Grindr users, which we imagine has made his next gym visit just a little more interesting. Knowing his sense of humor, he’s probably taking it in stride while working out those biceps and maybe catching a few extra smiles between sets.

A Quick Stop at Mira’s ✂️

Before heading to the LA Lakers game with Franklin, Pedro made a quick stop by Mira’s, and we’re guessing it might’ve been for a little help with his curls. His hair looked amazing, so if that’s the case, mission accomplished!

The longtime friends shared a few sweet mirror selfies, radiating cozy Sunday vibes and that effortless charm we can never get enough of.

All Smiles, No Lakers Shirt: Pedro Pascal’s Courtside Cameo

Pedro, our cozy man himself, finally made a courtside appearance at a Los Angeles Lakers game, joined by his agent, Franklin Latt. He showed up on November 30, 2025, to watch the Lakers take on the New Orleans Pelicans, flashing his signature smile every time the Jumbotron caught him.

Here’s the irony that had us chuckling: Pedro wore a plain white shirt and his beloved cardigan. That’s right – the man who basically lives in vintage Lakers T-shirts off-camera left all his purple-and-gold finery in the closet. For context, this is a guy who’s been photographed “over and over” in a weathered 2000 championship Lakers tee during his everyday outings. His Lakers gear works double shifts – especially that yellow champions shirt, which might be one of the hardest-working pieces in Pedro’s wardrobe. And yet, when game night finally arrived, he went with the classic white tee.

Maybe he didn’t want to jinx the team. Or maybe he did show up in the shirt, got a couple of stains on it, and Franklin sent him back to change.

Either way, the Lakers clinched the win, and Pedro’s courtside appearance gave us exactly what we needed: more adorable pics of everyone’s favorite internet boyfriend.

Avengers: Doomsday Embraces Real Sets Over Blue Screens

Marvel’s next big team-up Avengers: Doomsday is apparently going old-school in the best way – literally building its world instead of relying solely on blue screens. Production designer Gavin Bocquet revealed that roughly “80% of the interior sets” in this film feature physical backdrops rather than digital. Yes, you read that right – actual walls and scenery that actors can touch (so Pedro’s Mr. Fantastic can stretch his legs without knocking over a green screen). This practical approach is a refreshing surprise in an age when blue screens have been the default for Marvel, and it should give Doomsday a tangible, classic feel.

While the sets are nearly built, fans are still waiting for Marvel to build our excitement with a proper trailer – which is expected to drop later this month (likely tied to the release of Avatar: Fire and Ash)- some pages mentioned December 11th. The main Avengers: Doomsday cast has already been revealed- the big periodic table of teams have been shown, and it’s a who’s who of superheroes from across the MCU. Iconic Avengers and X-Men are joining forces with some Fantastic new faces – including Pedro and the whole F4 Family. With real sets, real stars, and a teaser incoming, the hype for Doomsday is very much real.

Speaking of the road to Doomsday…

Marvel is re-releasing Avengers: Endgame in theaters starting September 25, 2026, as a prequel and hype-builder for Avengers: Doomsday, which arrives in December 2026. Reports suggest the re-release will feature a brand-new post-credit scene directly connecting the two films, setting up the next phase of the MCU. With a rumored Disney trailer dropping on December 11, it feels like the countdown to Doomsday is officially underway, and Marvel fans are already bracing for impact.

Pedro Pascal Honors Sarah Paulson’s
Walk of Fame Star with Letter

Sarah Paulson has a new permanent address in Los Angeles: 6533 Hollywood Boulevard, where her 2,829th Hollywood Walk of Fame star now sits in the sun like a small, stubborn proof that time is real and talent leaves fossils. The ceremony (TV category) was emceed by Dayna Devon, with speeches from Holland Taylor and Amanda Peet - a lineup that reads like the love of her life, the friend who knows where the bodies are buried, and a microphone brave enough to survive it.

Amanda Peet read a short letter from Pedro, love-letter to a friendship that has lasted decades, the kind that has survived so many versions of who they are and who they’ve been. The writing doesn’t try to be clever so much as it tries to be true:

Missing this makes it too hard to find words
I can thank you both for my ridiculous fortune
Two birds grabbing sticks I never knew were for me
And anyone in your heart
To Sarah I’ll just say there is no me without you
Without you I wouldn’t believe in moon or sun or sky
You are the opening in the road
You are the decorated forest
And most importantly
You’re my friend I’m yours eternally
I’m so fucking proud of you more more
I love you more, period

It is pure Pedro: simple and emphatic.

Of course, no public celebration exists in a vacuum anymore. The internet has a talent for turning any heartfelt moment into a larger conversation, but at its core, this was simply about friendship, a bond that has lasted more than three decades.

Pedro’s love for Sarah didn’t start in Hollywood; it began in New York in the 1990s, during the struggling actor years filled with small failures, late nights, and shared hope. Sarah has said she once helped Pedro eat when he was broke, giving him per diem money so he could get by. That is not industry networking. That is care.

Love does not function like a purity test. Sometimes it is a lighthouse; sometimes it is a messy, stubborn little creature that refuses to die. People often underestimate how strong that kind of love is and how meaningful it becomes in the story of a life.

Pedro’s letter was not a press release; it was a map of gratitude: there is no me without you. What is being honored is not sainthood or perfection, but the quiet truth that someone once helped you survive your life, and you never stop knowing it.

A star on the sidewalk is a strange kind of immortality, bronze and terrazzo, stepped on by tourists eating churros. But friendship? Friendship is the opening in the road. Friendship is the decorated forest. Friendship is showing up, sometimes joyfully, sometimes quietly, always with your whole heart, because you remember who was there when you had nothing but time, talent, and fear.

Spoilers Ahead: The Mandalorian and Grogu

A possible new plot description teases Din Djarin and his tiny apprentice back on a galaxy-wide mission. With the Empire’s remnants scattered, the pair reportedly set out to track down dangerous warlords, and along the way, Grogu may discover an ancient artifact that amplifies his powers. If true, it sounds like our favorite duo are gearing up for their biggest adventure yet. Pedro back under the helmet? We’re more than ready.

Congratulations, Javeria! 🌟

Huge congratulations to Javeria and the entire team behind Belén, which has been nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the Critics Choice Awards! Directed by Dolores Fonzi and starring Fonzi alongside Camila Plaate, Belén is based on a powerful true story and continues to gain well-deserved international recognition.

Pedro celebrated the film’s success on his Instagram stories, showing his support for Javeria and the team, and we couldn’t agree more. Belén premiered in theaters this fall and will soon be available to stream on Amazon Prime.

In her guest essay for Remezcla , Javeria beautifully reflects on why Belén matters, not just as a film, but as a story that amplifies truth, justice, and the power of Latin American voices in cinema.

A heartfelt congrats to Javeria for this incredible achievement and for helping bring such an important story to the world.

Throwback Spotlight: Oscar & Pedro on Stage

We’ll never get tired of the Space Sisters calling each other out. During his SAG-AFTRA Foundation interview, Pedro talked about performing alongside Oscar Isaac in the 2006 play Beauty of the Father, calling back to their early days on stage together. And now, in his own interview, Oscar was asked about that same experience, sharing how much fun he had making Pedro laugh during rehearsals and performances.

It’s such a sweet full-circle moment between two friends who started in the theater and grew into icons, still cracking each other up nearly two decades later.
