Welcome to Issue 27 of The Pascal Pulse
The one where time sprints past us in jingle bells and tinsel, and suddenly it’s Christmas again. December always feels like a cinematic montage: blinking lights, half-finished plans, too much sugar, not enough sleep. One minute it’s November, the next we’re emotionally attached to a mug of something warm, wondering how the year managed to slip through our fingers like snow melting on a glove.
Speaking of time behaving badly, it’s impossible not to throw it back to Pedro’s Mexico vacation last year - an era that now feels both extremely recent and mythologically distant. Sun, water, laughter, and yes, those videos and photos: Pedro in swim trunks, unbothered, thriving, casually reminding the internet that joy is real and sometimes shirtless. A gift, truly. The kind of holiday spirit that doesn’t come wrapped but absolutely lives rent-free in fandom memory.
This December, though, the energy has shifted. Pedro’s family is almost certainly exhausted from the sheer number of Santa’s elves trying to sneak him out of the house. Every wish list, every metaphorical chimney, every hopeful heart seems to be quietly asking the same thing: please let Pedro be under the tree. Or at least nearby.
And just like that, this is the last newsletter of 2025. Twenty-seven weeks of The Pascal Pulse -thank you for reading, sharing, and showing up with us week after week. As we head into 2026, we’re already looking forward to what’s next: at least 56 more issues of shared joy, laughs, and collective appreciation for Pedro, Lux, Javi and maybe even Nico, even though we all know he doesn’t really like the attention.
Happy New Year - see you on the other side of the calendar.
With Love
-The Editors 💌

January
January was a slow month. Pedro was spotted on his way to his car after working up a sweat at the gym on Tuesday afternoon (January 7) in Los Angeles. He also got his first haircut of the year from Mira Chai - a slow start to what would become such a successful year.

February
February found Pedro Pascal dancing between high-profile glamour and heartfelt culture. He kicked off the Fantastic Four press tour with a lively appearance on Good Morning America, teasing his role as Reed Richards. That same week, he showed up at SNL50: The Homecoming Concert on Feb. 14 and then he took the stage two days later at the SNL 50 live special, reprising a fan-favorite sketch and stealing scenes alongside Bad Bunny and Sabrina Carpenter. On February 18, he attended the opening of “Peter Berlin: Permission to Stare”, a queer art exhibition curated by his close friend Russell Tovey.

March
On March 19, Pedro attended the special Oakland premiere of Freaky Tales at the Grand Lake Theatre, a fittingly local and cinematic start to the month.

March was also the month where we saw first The Materialists poster.
Pedro also starred as the lead in Apple’s Someday AirPods 4 short film, directed by Spike Jonze, dancing his feelings out.

April

Pedro then celebrated the milestone in an underground jazz club, with Trans icon and renowned DJ Honey Dijon leading the party into the night.
On April 4, Freaky Tales officially hit theaters, letting wider audiences finally catch up with the film’s pulpy, offbeat energy.

Mid-month took Pedro to Star Wars Celebration Japan, where he appeared alongside Sigourney Weaver, blending sci-fi royalty across generations.
The trip included a stop on Good Morning America, bringing the celebration stateside before the jet lag could set in.
Rounding out the month, on April 22 Pedro attended a special London screening of Thunderbolts*, closing April on an international, blockbuster-leaning note.
For his milestone birthday bash and for the UK premiere of THUNDERBOLTS, Pedro wore Connor Ives’ iconic “Protect The Dolls” shirt to support trans rights, with shirt proceeds supporting the charity Trans Lifeline.

When Fandom Shows Up for Good
This is absolutely a good cause to take our money. This holiday season, Pedro Pascal Nation on X is hosting a fundraiser benefiting The Pad Project, an organization dedicated to providing menstrual products, education, and advocacy so no one has to miss school or opportunities because of their period.
Menstrual inequity is still a real barrier for so many, and this fundraiser directly supports access, dignity, and education. If you’re looking to put your money toward something that genuinely makes a difference, this is a solid and meaningful choice. Donate here.
