Welcome to Issue 44 of The Pascal Pulse
Donde hay amor, hay hogar 🇲🇽❤️
As De Noche wrapped filming in México late into the night on Friday, it really felt like the closing of something meaningful, not just a production, but an experience filled with heart.
México isn’t just a backdrop for Pedro, it’s a place that’s been part of his story for a long time. From childhood trips with his parents to the moments he’s created there as an adult, there’s a real sense of connection that goes deeper than work. You can feel it in the way Pedro talks about it, in the way he shows up, and in how naturally that love seems to exist.
And México gives that love right back. There’s something truly special about the people, the warmth, the openness, and the way kindness is just part of the fabric of everyday life. It’s not performative, it’s real. It’s the kind of energy that stays with you. From the richness of the culture to the generosity of spirit, it creates an environment where people feel seen and welcomed, and from everything we’ve witnessed, that’s exactly what this experience has been.
Last year at CCXP México 2025, the love from fans was undeniable. Loud, joyful, and emotional in the best way. And now, as he returns for CCXP México 2026, we already know what’s waiting for him. That same deep, wholehearted connection. That same feeling of being embraced.
And to our Mexican friends, this is for you. We see you. We feel the love you give so freely, and we want you to know it reaches far beyond borders. We love you right back. And you have to know by now that Pedro loves you and your country right back. Thank you for showing up the way you do, for creating spaces filled with joy, and for being such a beautiful part of this community.

CCXP México Schedule Set for The Mandalorian & Grogu
Today is a big day with The Mandalorian & Grogu taking over CCXP México. The Mandalorian & Grogu is heading to CCXP México on Sunday, April 26. The panel is set for 5:15 pm ET, followed by cast interviews on the Omelete Stage at 6:25 pm ET (3:15 pm and 4:25 pm local time in Mexico). If you’re planning to tune in, the Omelete Stage interviews will be livestreamed on CCXP México’s tiktok and on Omelete’s Youtube channel definitely one to keep an eye on.
We’ll be doing our best to cover everything as it unfolds over on our fan accounts on Instagram, so keep an eye out for updates throughout the day. And if you’re following along on X, our friends at Pedro Pascal Daily and Pedro Pascal Nation will also be covering, so there will be plenty of ways to keep up with all the moments in real time. Our friends at @elefectopascal_ will be on the ground at CCXP México bringing fans along for the ride with a planned live stream straight from the Omelete stage. If the internet cooperates, they’ll be sharing the cast interview in real time, so if you can’t be there, this is a fun way to experience a bit of the energy as it happens.
Pedro Boards Dark Western from Park Chan-Wook
In an exclusive from Deadline, Pedro is set to star in Park Chan-wook’s upcoming Western thriller The Brigands of Rattleborge, joining a stacked cast that includes Matthew McConaughey, Austin Butler, and Tang Wei.
Without getting too into the weeds, let’s just say we’ve heard whispers of this script before, and it’s not your typical Western. The story leans dark and violent, mixing crime, revenge, and moral decay in a frontier town that isn’t nearly as clean as it looks.
It kicks off with outlaw Billy Lee, who makes a dangerous deal to rescue a kidnapped girl in exchange for unleashing a catastrophic storm on the town of Rattleborge. Meanwhile, Sheriff Pickman is trying to hold things together as tensions simmer beneath the surface, and a mysterious stranger, Abraham Weiss, arrives…bringing secrets, chaos, and a whole lot of trouble with him.
If this all sounds a little haunting and messy in the best way, that tracks. And with Pedro stepping into a story like this, we’re already seated.

Marvel Heads Back to SDCC
After skipping 2025, Marvel Studios is officially returning to San Diego Comic-Con in 2026 with a Hall H presentation, reclaiming its usual Saturday night spotlight. It’s a big move that signals a renewed push for major reveals, fan moments, and that unmistakable SDCC energy.
San Diego Comic-Con 2026 will be held from Thursday, July 23 to Sunday, July 26, so if Marvel follows tradition, expect Hall H to be one of the most talked-about events of the weekend.
New Smuggler’s Run Poster + Update Preview

Disney has released a new official poster for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, teasing the upcoming Mandalorian and Grogu update arriving May 22. The refresh brings a new storyline led by Hondo Ohnaka, with guests navigating a deal between ex-Imperials and pirates while piloting the Falcon.
The update also adds new destination choices like Bespin, Endor, and Coruscant, along with upgraded visuals and interactive features, including the ability for engineers to communicate with Grogu during the mission. A fun mix of nostalgia and new storytelling that leans even more into the Mando universe.
Wrap… Not Wrapped… Wait—Now Wrapped: The De Noche Saga Continues
Earlier this week, we thought De Noche had wrapped production after a behind-the-scenes photo made the rounds… but not so fast. It turns out that was just a wrap for that specific filming location in México, not the entire production.
Filming continued, with recent sightings placing the production on the west coast of México. And in a moment we truly won’t forget…Pedro himself popped into our comments to set the record straight. Honestly, fair. We stand corrected.
Filming for De Noche officially wrapped late Friday into the early hours of Saturday morning. After a week of “wait…did it wrap?” confusion, this time it’s real.
We shared the update…and Pedro liked the post himself, so we’re taking that as confirmation straight from the source.

New Outtakes from ICON El País Shoot
We got some beautiful outtakes from Pedro’s ICON El País shoot, photographed by Danielle DeGrasse Levi. From relaxed moments stretched out in the grass to those sharper, tailored looks, the contrast really works, as it’s playful one second, and effortlessly polished the next. It feels candid but intentional; it’s the kind of shoot that lets his personality come through without trying too hard.
First Clip from The Mandalorian & Grogu
The first official clip from The Mandalorian & Grogu has arrived, debuting during Jimmy Kimmel Live, and it’s already giving a clearer glimpse into the film’s story. The scene adds context to moments we’ve seen in trailers, hinting at some of the larger plot threads while still keeping plenty under wraps.
And yes, our favorite little button pusher finally gets asked to actually help out and push some buttons for dad…and immediately fumbles it. Honestly, we wouldn’t expect anything less from Grogu.
4 Years of The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent
Four years later and The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent still holds up as one of those unexpectedly perfect films, as it’s chaotic, funny, and somehow full of heart. Pedro’s Javi remains a standout, with his softness and fanboy energy carrying just a hint of Pedro himself, which made the character feel even more genuine and lovable.
It’s a little unhinged, emotional, and this is a great reminder to visit Javi and Nic again with a rewatch.

Taking The Mandalorian & Grogu Worldwide
The global tour for The Mandalorian & Grogu is making its way across the map, with a schedule that looks like Mexico (April 24), Berlin (May 4th), Paris (May 5th), London (May 7), Madrid, New York City, Tokyo, and finally Los Angeles. It’s a full-on international rollout, bringing the film straight to fans around the world.
We don’t know yet if Pedro will be at all of these stops, but we sure hope so. Either way, it’s shaping up to be a very global moment for for Mando and his little Baby Yum Yum, and we’ll definitely be watching to see where he pops up.
An Emotional Full Circle: Javiera Brings La Casa del Espíritu Home to Chile
This week, Javiera Balmaceda returned home to Chile to introduce La Casa del Espíritu (The House of Spirits), marking an emotional full-circle moment after its global journey through Berlin, Madrid, Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Los Angeles. She spoke about how deeply the story moved her and thanked the cast, creatives, and production team for bringing this Latin American story to life, while highlighting the importance of showcasing Chilean talent on a global stage. Now streaming on Prime Video, the series stands as both a celebration of storytelling and a powerful homecoming.
Endgame Returns to Theaters
Avengers: Endgame is heading back to theaters, with Joe Russo calling it “critically important” to re-release the film. The new version is expected to include added footage tied to the upcoming Doomsday storyline, giving fans a bit more context and possibly setting up what’s next for the MCU.
A return like this feels less like nostalgia and more like groundwork and honestly, not the worst excuse to experience Endgame on the big screen again.
Doomsday on the Horizon?
And speaking of what’s next, there’s growing chatter that an Avengers: Doomsday trailer could be on the way “soon.” No confirmed date yet, though some rumors point to a possible drop this weekend, which would be a bit unusual for Disney. Either way, it’s starting to feel like the pieces are lining up.

How to Count Your Score
Count your answers:
A + C answers = Din / Mando points
B + D answers = Grogu points
Now check your result below.

Results
Mostly A and C: You Are Din Djarin
You are practical, loyal, protective, and just a little emotionally constipated. You probably act like you don’t need anyone, but the second someone becomes your person, you are ready to cross half the galaxy, break ancient rules, and dramatically remove your helmet if necessary.
You give strong “I said this was just a job, but now I have adopted everyone involved” energy.
Your strengths: loyalty, courage, discipline, quiet devotion.
Your weakness: feelings. Specifically, having them.
Your vibe: single dad in beskar pretending this is not a family vacation.
This is the Way.
Mostly B and D: You Are Grogu
You are adorable, mysterious, deeply powerful, and probably cannot be trusted around unattended snacks. People underestimate you because you look innocent, which is honestly their first mistake.
You may be small, but your emotional impact is massive. You are soft, curious, chaotic, and capable of turning any serious situation into either a snack break or a spiritual awakening.
Your strengths: intuition, charm, hidden power, emotional honesty.
Your weakness: buttons, cookies, frogs, soup, and doing exactly what you were told not to do.
Your vibe: tiny ancient wizard baby with main character privilege.
May the Force be with your snack choices.
Equal A/C and B/D: You Are the Clan of Two
Congratulations, you are both. Emotionally guarded but secretly soft. Capable of handling danger, but also very likely to get distracted by something cute, shiny, or edible.
You are the beautiful balance between “I must protect the child” and “I am the child.”
Your strengths: loyalty, heart, instinct, chaos.
Your weakness: attachment — which is also your superpower.
Your vibe: found family with a travel mug and unresolved feelings.
You are not just Din or Grogu.
You are the mission and the emotional damage.
Your READ Posters Are Here

Earlier this week, we shared our Pedro-inspired READ posters as part of National Library Week and had the best time celebrating the power of stories, imagination, and the people who keep them alive.
As promised, they’re ready for you, click here to download your 8x10 versions. 💜

Author Highlight:
BigMac1383 and the Case of Detective Tim Rockford
For National Library Week, we’re turning our Artist Highlight into an Author Highlight and celebrating one of the writers keeping a wonderfully niche Pedro character alive: BigMac1383 on AO3. Her ongoing series, The Rockford Portfolio, gives Detective Tim Rockford - yes, that Tim Rockford from the Merge Mansion ads - a whole romantic, funny, soft, occasionally spicy little universe of his own. Across 24 works and almost 75,000 words, BigMac1383 turns a small and often-forgotten Pedro role into a full character with charm, tenderness, detective grumpiness, and plenty of heart. It’s exactly the kind of fandom creativity we love: taking one tiny spark from canon and building an entire world around it.

BigMac1383 takes Detective Tim Rockford from “that guy in the Merge Mansion ads” to a fully fleshed-out romantic lead. Across the series, Tim and Reader go from an unexpected meet-cute to an established relationship packed with cozy domestic moments, detective drama, playful banter, emotional comfort, and the kind of soft protective boyfriend energy fandom does best.

A huge thank you to everyone who created, shared, and supported. Showing your admiration through art is something really special, and sharing your joy and love for Pedro means more than you know. Big thanks to @kiyomeji for bringing this to life, and to @alyssamariag and @north.the.lemon for guiding and hosting it this year.

Take My Money: Mando x Bath & Body Works?!
Okay, we just got the most amazing tip and we need to share immediately. Word on the street is that Bath & Body Works may be doing a Mandalorian & Grogu collaboration featuring an actual scent line. Think along the lines of their Disney Princess limited collections, but make it Mando and his little green bean.
We’re hearing an announcement could be coming soon, with a possible launch around 5/11. Nothing officially confirmed yet, but Force Flow candles and Bounty Hunter scents might be in our future and honestly, take our money now!

This Is the Way… to Empty Our Wallets
Shop Girls Crew is coming for our wallets again with their new Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu collection, and honestly…resistance is futile. From tiny Grogu and Mando helmet studs to a ridiculously adorable Zeb piece, the collection is full of sparkly little May the 4th treasures perfect for fans who like their jewelry with a side of Outer Rim chaos. Consider this your warning: these pieces are dangerously cute, and our bank accounts may not survive.
Hot Topic has joined the May the 4th temptation lineup with new arrivals inspired by The Mandalorian and Grogu and yes, our wallets are already shaking. From Grogu overalls and cozy hoodies to a ridiculously cute bag and Mando-inspired cardigan, the collection feels made for anyone who wants to look like they casually escaped from the Outer Rim gift shop. Cute, cozy, dangerously wearable…this is the way to financial damage.
