Welcome to Issue 47 of The Pascal Pulse

The Fun, the Love, and the Good We Can Do

This week, we want to take a small moment to talk about something close to our hearts: community.

Most of us found each other through a shared love for Pedro Pascal - through the characters, the interviews, the red carpets, the silly little timeline moments, the art, the edits, the joy. Fandom can be fun, chaotic, emotional, and deeply unserious in the best way. But sometimes, it can also become something more.

It can become a place where people notice each other. A place where we use the attention we have gathered for something good. A place where love does not just stay inside the fandom bubble, but reaches outward.

This week also marked Donate a Day’s Wages to Charity Day, observed on the second Wednesday of May. Of course, not everyone can donate a full day’s wage and that is completely okay. Sometimes it is not about the size of the donation. Sometimes it is one euro. One dollar. One share. One message. One person choosing to care loudly enough that someone else feels less alone.

That is exactly why we want to keep highlighting Lisa’s fund. If this community can come together for premiere photos, interviews, fan art, birthday projects, and every tiny Pedro moment, we can also come together to help someone who needs real, practical support.

And in a way, that feels very connected to what so many of us admire in Pedro himself. He has often spoken about the people who carried him through difficult years - saying, “I had angels around me the whole time.” That line stays with us because it is such a beautiful reminder: nobody gets through life completely alone. We all need our angels. And sometimes, we get the chance to be that for someone else.

Many of us also remember the story of our friend Chi, who was unable to attend the Berlin event while fighting her illness and how Pedro heard about her and sent her a video to lift her spirits. It was a small gesture from him, but for someone going through something so heavy, it meant the world. That is the kind of kindness that ripples.

So yes, we are here for the fun. We are here for the movies, the shows, the interviews, the fashion, the jokes, the edits, the love. But we also want to be here for the things that matter. We want to use this space, this audience, this little corner of the internet, to raise awareness, to help where we can, and to stay on the right side of history - as Pedro mentioned he wants to be.

Fandom does not have to be shallow. Joy does not have to mean looking away. We can celebrate Pedro, enjoy the sweetness of this community, and still show up for real people in real ways.

If you are able to donate to Lisa’s fund, even a small amount can help. If you cannot donate, sharing the link helps, too. Talking about it helps. Keeping it visible helps.

Because sometimes legacy is not just about what someone inspires us to feel.

Sometimes it is about what they inspire us to do.

Lisa’s Walker Fund Update

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, boosted, or helped spread the word about Lisa’s walker fund. Thanks to your kindness, we have now raised 44% of the €500 goal and that is around €220 already going toward the lightweight walker Lisa needs for more safety, stability, and independence.

We are getting closer, but we are not there yet. Every small donation still makes a real difference, and even €1 / $1 helps move the fundraiser forward. If you are not able to donate right now, sharing the link is also a huge help.

Let’s keep going and help Lisa reach the full goal. 💜

Last Night At Galaxy’s Edge We All Would Have Died

Disneyland debuted a new limited-time Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu projection show in Galaxy’s Edge, and some extremely lucky guests got a huge surprise Saturday night. Pedro, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Sigourney Weaver appeared in front of the crowd during the new Mandalorian-themed nighttime spectacular, turning an already exciting debut into an unforgettable moment for Star Wars fans.

Also, last night Pedro created the surprise of a lifetime. Imagine getting grouped together for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run already stressed that the cast member is about to make you the pilot even though you can barely parallel park in real life…and then suddenly Din Djarin is just standing there with his slutty little hip popped out like he pays rent there. Then all of a sudden he takes off the helmet…and it’s actually Pedro Mother Fucking Pascal.

No, because genuinely we would have died. Like sorry Hondo, the coaxium is gone because we’re busy passing away in front of Pedro while some random single rider dude named Kyle crashes us directly into an asteroid.

Good Morning America

Pedro’s week started in classic morning show mode with a Good Morning America appearance tied to The Mandalorian and Grogu. The promo run has been leaning heavily into the emotional pull of Din Djarin and Grogu’s return, and Pedro brought exactly the kind of warm, easy energy that makes these interviews feel less like standard press and more like a tiny fandom reset button.

He smiled. He charmed. He talked Star Wars. The internet, naturally, did what the internet does. Watch the full interview HERE.

Pedro Pascal Takes Times Square with Grogu

Pedro brought a little Mandalorian magic to New York this week, stopping by Times Square to check out the larger-than-life promo for The Mandalorian and Grogu. The billboard features Grogu inside a popcorn machine, because apparently even the galaxy’s smallest Force-user knows how to sell movie tickets. With the film heading to theaters and IMAX on May 22, Pedro and Grogu’s Times Square moment was the perfect big-city reminder that Din Djarin’s next adventure is almost here.

Pedro Stops by BBC Radio 1

The promo tour for The Mandalorian and Grogu has already given us the big cinematic moments, like Times Square billboards, red carpet-ready appearances, and the kind of galaxy-sized marketing you expect from Star Wars. But one of the sweetest stops this week came in a much more relaxed setting: Pedro appearing alongside Greg James for BBC Radio 1.

Pedro joined Greg for a round of Unpopular Opinion, bringing the tour into that cozy radio studio space where things feel a little less polished and a lot more human. Instead of the high-gloss spectacle of a major franchise campaign, this was Pedro smiling beside a host, leaning into the silliness, and giving fans exactly the kind of casual appearance that tends to live rent-free on the timeline.

Pedro Tells the Story of Getting Lost in the Eiffel Tower and Somehow Makes It Adorable

During his appearance on Quotidien (The French show with the good lighting), Pedro shared a hilarious childhood story about getting lost in the Eiffel Tower while visiting Paris as a kid. After wandering around in full panic mode, he finally spotted Javiera in the distance and immediately started screaming her name. According to Pedro, she screamed his name right back across the crowd until they finally reunited. The things little Pedro probably put Javiera through honestly deserve their own documentary. 😂

The interview also included a throwback Buffy the Vampire Slayer clip, which immediately made Pedro adorably shy.

Pedro and Jon Favreau also talked about the transition from The Mandalorian series to the movie, and Pedro was completely adorable throughout the interview.

Our only tiny complaint? The French dubbing over his answers. We totally understand why it was done, but selfishly, we wish there had been subtitles instead or an alternate version released without the voiceover so we could hear that beautiful voice and all of Pedro’s reactions and delivery more clearly firsthand. Then again, that may just be the opinion of people who unfortunately do not speak French. 😅

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Pedro stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday, May 12 and, as expected, the appearance instantly became one of the standout late-night moments of the entire promo run. But there was also something a little bittersweet about it, knowing this will be the last time we see him on the show before it comes to an end.

Of course, the internet immediately latched onto the playful kiss moment with Stephen Colbert because honestly, how could it not? It was silly, charming, chaotic in the best way, and exactly the kind of warm, funny energy Pedro always brings to late night appearances. The clip already feels destined to live on in fandom long after the press tour wraps up.

And somehow the night got even more endearing when Pedro walked away with a gifted shirt from the show, and a box of Chip City Cookies in hand and a hug. Truly the kind of wholesome late-night exit only he could pull off.

Late Night with Seth Meyers

Pedro continued his The Mandalorian and Grogu promo week with a stop at Late Night with Seth Meyers, joining the May 13 episode alongside Billy Eichner and Jill Kargman. Pedro’s interview was actually pre-taped earlier in the day before his appearance at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, which also explains why he arrived a little later to the Colbert taping. It was another late-night appearance that blended big Star Wars excitement with the softer, funnier Pedro energy fans love so much.

During the appearance, Pedro talked about stepping back into the world of Din Djarin and fulfilling his lifelong Star Wars dreams as The Mandalorian & Grogu prepares to bring the beloved story from Disney+ to the big screen. But, as always, the real magic was in the little moments: the smiles, the teasing, the warm back-and-forth with Seth Meyers, and that very Pedro ability to make even a massive franchise promo feel refreshingly personal.

Pedro & Lux Spotted in NYC as Summer War Heads to Tribeca

Pedro and Lux were spotted together near the Tribeca Screening Room this week, which of course has us hoping Pedro may have gotten an early sneak peek at Summer War.

The film is part of the International Narrative Competition and screens June 7, 8, and 12 during the festival. Set in Chile in 1989 during the decline of the Pinochet regime, the story follows tabletop wargame champion Udo Berger, whose quiet coastal vacation with his girlfriend takes a strange turn after a friend mysteriously disappears. What unfolds is an effortlessly stylish adaptation of Roberto Bolaño’s The Third Reich.

Considering Pedro’s deep love of film and storytelling, it’s no surprise to see him showing up to support his baby sister and champion her work as she takes part in one of the festival’s most intriguing international films.

Pedro Brings Din Djarin to the Los Angeles Premiere of The Mandalorian and Grogu

Pedro stepped out in Los Angeles for the world premiere of The Mandalorian and Grogu, officially bringing Din Djarin’s big-screen era to the red carpet. The premiere took place on May 14 and brought together Pedro, Jon Favreau, Sigourney Weaver, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and - most importantly, obviously - Grogu himself. Because let’s be honest: no Mandalorian premiere is complete without the tiny green co-star who has been stealing scenes, hearts, and arguably the entire franchise since 2019.

The event felt like a full-circle moment for Pedro, who has carried Din Djarin from Disney+ phenomenon to theatrical Star Wars lead. Officially, The Mandalorian and Grogu sends Din and Grogu on their next mission for the New Republic, with the film directed by Jon Favreau, filmed for IMAX, and opening exclusively in theaters on May 22, 2026.

And the premiere had an extra little fandom treat, too: Pedro reunited with Gabriel Luna on the red carpet, giving The Last of Us fans their own “Miller brothers” moment in the middle of a galaxy far, far away. The official Star Wars account highlighted the reunion while promoting the film’s theatrical and IMAX release.

Between the red carpet, the Grogu appearances, and Pedro standing at the center of it all, the Los Angeles premiere made one thing very clear: The Mandalorian and Grogu is not just another chapter. It is Din and Grogu stepping into movie-star territory and Pedro looked right at home leading the way.

Pedro Pascal Celebrates Sigourney Weaver at Her Handprint Ceremony

Pedro joined Sigourney Weaver in Hollywood this week as she received one of the industry’s most iconic honors: a handprint and footprint ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre. The event took place on Friday, May 15, just one day after The Mandalorian and Grogu premiere was held at the same venue, making it a very fitting full-circle moment for the film’s promo week.

Pedro was there alongside James Cameron to celebrate Weaver’s legendary career - from Alien to Avatar and now her entrance into the Star Wars galaxy. His appearance felt especially sweet because Weaver stars with him in The Mandalorian and Grogu, where she plays Colonel Ward opposite Pedro’s Din Djarin.

The ceremony had all the classic Hollywood symbolism: wet cement, handprints, footprints, and one more screen legend officially leaving her mark at the Chinese Theatre. But it also gave fans a lovely Pedro moment, as he honored Weaver not just as a co-star, but as one of the great sci-fi icons whose work helped shape the kind of worlds Star Wars now belongs beside.

And because Sigourney Weaver is Sigourney Weaver, she even added an exclamation point after her name in the cement, a tiny perfect detail for a career that has never exactly been quiet.

The Reviews Are In for The Mandalorian and Grogu and we Should Be Excited

Early reactions for The Mandalorian and Grogu are rolling in, and the overall vibe is: Star Wars is back in a big way. Reviewers are praising the film’s action, heart, weird creatures, humor, and classic sense of adventure, with several saying it feels made for the big screen. There’s also a lot of love for the adorable Grogu moments, Ludwig Göransson’s score, and apparently a scene-stealing Hutt named Ratto the Hutt.

One reaction called the score “a beating heart,” while another described the movie as “a fun, freaky romp across the galaxy.”

Also, seeing wet helmetless Din Djarin in IMAX may actually take some of us out completely. Respectfully. Get your tickets HERE.

Pedro Makes Star Wars History

With The Mandalorian and Grogu, Pedro becomes the first Latino actor to receive top billing in a Star Wars film and only the 8th actor overall to earn that spot.

The list now includes:
Mark Hamill
Liam Neeson
Ewan McGregor
Harrison Ford
Felicity Jones
Alden Ehrenreich
Carrie Fisher
Pedro Pascal

From watching Star Wars as a kid to leading a film on the biggest screen possible… what a full circle moment for Pedro and for so many fans seeing themselves reflected in this galaxy.

Behemoth! Begins Building Early Awards Buzz

Pedro’s upcoming film Behemoth! may already be one to watch this awards season. According to World of Reel, Tony Gilroy’s new drama recently held a test screening and reportedly received very positive reactions, with the film described as “easily imaginable as an Oscar contender.” The outlet also reports that an October/November release window is currently being eyed, though no official release date has been announced yet.

The film stars Pedro as Alex Serian, a cellist who returns to Los Angeles and begins composing music for films. World of Reel describes Behemoth! as a character-driven, nonlinear drama shaped by music, memory, and flashbacks spanning two decades. It sounds like the kind of emotionally layered, formally ambitious project that could give Pedro a very different kind of showcase.

Most excitingly, Pedro’s performance as Alex is reportedly being singled out as stellar, with his character described as a moody, unraveling artist whose personal and professional lives begin to collapse into each other. Between Gilroy’s return to film directing, the bold musical structure, and early awards-season whispers, Behemoth! is quickly becoming one of Pedro’s most intriguing upcoming projects.

Keeping Up With the Pedro-verse: The Interview Archive

As this whirlwind promo tour continues, so does our mission to capture every interview, quote, funny moment, and behind-the-scenes gem we can find. We’ve been carefully organizing everything into our growing Google Sheets archive because honestly? There has been so much happening across the Pedro-verse that we needed a system. From red carpets to late-night appearances to press junkets, we’re tracking it all so fellow fans can revisit the moments, timelines, and chaos anytime they want.

WHAT’S IN THE BAG, PEDRO?

Pedro stepped out in London carrying a new Chanel bag large enough to hold a small nation, and naturally our first thought was: what on earth is actually in that bag?

So we made a survey.

From Grogu and tangled chargers to Coco hitching a ride because she is tiny, we want YOU to decide the 10 items most likely living inside Pedro’s giant bag of chaos.

We’ll compile the results, share the top voted items later, and honestly we are already scared of what this fandom is going to come up with. This is the way… straight into the world’s most chaotic Chanel bag.

Vote for the 10 items you believe are most likely hiding inside Pedro’s giant Chanel tote HERE

And for anyone wondering: SurveyMonkey is private, you do not need to sign up for anything to participate, and we cannot see who submitted responses.

Artist Highlight: @marilustart

This week’s artist spotlight goes to Mar Ilustra, a traditional illustrator whose work brings Pedro-inspired portraits to life with soft pencil lines, warm color palettes, and a beautifully delicate handmade feel. Their page is full of charming character studies and expressive sketches, from Din Djarin and Grogu to pastel-toned portraits that capture Pedro’s softer, dreamier screen presence.

What makes Mar’s art feel so special is the tenderness in the details - the curls, the gentle shading, the quiet emotion in each face. It has that cozy sketchbook magic that feels personal, intimate, and made with real love for the subject.

Make sure to check out @marilustart and give their lovely traditional art some well-deserved support.

Pedro’s Produce Stickers Are the Cutest Thing on Etsy Right Now

We regret to inform everyone that the Pedro’s Produce sticker sheet from CraftersAssembled has completely won us over. The bright retro grocery label aesthetic mixed with Pedro references is somehow chaotic, adorable, and weirdly perfect all at once. “Sweeter Than the Average” and “Cherry Picked” genuinely feel like things fandom would immediately slap on a water bottle, laptop, or tote bag. 🍓🍌🥑

But honestly, the entire shop feels like a true one stop shop for Pedro fan trinkets. From funky photocard frames and holographic stickers to bookmarks, keychains, quote hearts, and the absolutely iconic decorated photo cards, every item feels handmade by someone who fully understands fandom brain chemistry. 😂

It’s cute. It’s camp. It’s sparkly. And yes, unfortunately for our wallets, we want all of it.

Check them out here and follow them on Instagram.

The Mandalorian & Grogu adidas Collab Has Arrived

Listen… the second Star Wars and adidas said “Mandalorian & Grogu running shoes,” some of us were already reaching for our wallets. 😭

The new Adizero EVO SL ATR collab features sleek silver and gray tones inspired by Din Djarin’s armor, subtle This Is The Way detailing on the laces, and honestly? They look way cooler than most franchise sneakers have any right to.

They somehow managed to make them feel sporty, Star Wars-y, and stylish enough that even non-runners are suddenly considering becoming “running enthusiasts.”

Perfect for sprinting to opening night of The Mandalorian and Grogu on May 22.

As we close this issue of The Pascal Pulse, today also marks the International Day Against LGBTQIA+ Discrimination. 💜

A reminder that acceptance is easy when it stays hypothetical, but real allyship means showing up with compassion even when people challenge the version of someone you created in your own mind.

The past few months revealed a lot about fandom spaces. Some people chose kindness, understanding, and grace. Others quietly stepped away or struggled when assumptions, expectations, or personal projections no longer matched reality.

But those paying attention always understood what Pedro has consistently stood for: protecting queer voices, supporting Lux, and creating space for people to exist safely and authentically. That was never hidden.

We love our community because, at its best, it leads with empathy, humor, creativity, and genuine care for one another. The Pascal Pulse will always strive to be a truly safe and welcoming space for everyone, especially our LGBTQIA+ readers, followers, and friends. You belong here exactly as you are. 🌈
