The Pascal Pulse - Issue #9

Editorial
Welcome to Issue 9 of The Pascal Pulse
Late summer turned the volume down and honestly, we needed that. Adoration doesn’t mean “always on.” It means we can step back, breathe, and still keep the porch light glowing. Pedro’s been sprinting all year; now he’s in a gentler lane, with just a quick pop-in at HBO’s Emmy Nominee Celebration before the hush returned. We clocked the fit, we cheered, and then we let the moment settle
We’re channeling all the good energy toward September 14 - the 77th Emmys. We’re picturing Pedro’s name called for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, palms buzzing, hearts loud, gratitude louder. Light a candle, change your lock screen… whatever your ritual is, bring it. (Yes, he’s nominated; yes, we’re manifesting.) Maybe we can make our own manifestation ritual!
This newsletter is about showing him love and support even when the asshole side of the internet come after him. This is The Pascal Pulse. And it’s beating for you (and for Pedro, obviously).—The Editors 💌 | ![]() |

Behemoth!
It’s happening!! Tony Gilroy just confirmed on the Lovett or Leave It podcast that Pedro Pascal will star in his new film Behemoth! The story follows a cellist, and honestly it could not be more perfect for him. Between his love of film scores, his emotional acting chops, and yes, the fact that he was spotted leaving the gym with a cello it all makes sense now. The movie is begin filming this fall in LA! This is going to be huge! Oscar 2027?! With Tony Gilroy behind it and Pedro bringing all that emotional range to a role like this… We are calling it now!

Professor Reed’s Class Is In Session
Class is officially in session this September, and Professor Reed Richards has only one subject on the syllabus: Pedro Pascal. Each week, he will be handing out a brand-new Pedro-themed homework assignment every Monday, and your creations will be “due” the following Monday.
But don’t worry, there are no grades, just fandom fun. You can “turn in” your homework in any form you like: edits, art, gifs, memes, or writing.
Join the Pascal Homework Challenge by sharing your creations with #PascalHomework so the whole class can admire your results.
Be on the lookout, the first assignment announcement is happening soon.

Pedro stepped out at HBO Max’s Emmy Nominee Celebration at NYA WEST in Hollywood on Aug. 17 serving quiet luxury with a wink. Head to toe in Celine, he kept the palette calm and grounded: khaki, beige, and black. A sharp double-breasted jacket layered over a subtly military-inspired shirt, relaxed wide trousers, and sleek Celine Miles loafers completed the look. The effect was polished but easy; late-summer neutrals, precise lines, zero fuss. Styled by Jamie Mizrahi. It was peak Pedro: unfussy, confident, and camera-ready without trying too hard.
The glasses plus mustache combo remains undefeated.

You can now watch The Last of Us Q&A from HBO’s For Your Consideration series at this link! This Emmy Nominee Celebration event was recorded on August 17, 2025. Pedro was yapping away adorably at 9 a.m. on a Sunday while sitting right between Bella and Kaitlyn. It was so nice to see a sweet little Beldro reunion 💛 we love those little pudas (Putas)! Their chemistry is as wonderful as ever, and Kaitlyn’s presence made the whole interaction even cuter.
